Armour Stone, Rideau Lake 2012 These photos are a before and after compilation taken by our customer. The customer required a retaining wall to solve some drainage issues for there boat house on Rideau lake near Perth Ontario. The site had very limited access because of the septic field. Our equipment was able to get around the septic area outlined by the customer with the yellow tape and build the natural stone wall they required to blend in with natural theme of there property. An armour stone retaining wall was constructed with a mulched and crushed stone walkway to divide the lawn from the storage area as per the customer’s request. A cedar fence is placed at the edge of the retaining wall to help identify the sloped area and to provide a safety railing. The struggling turf was tilled – new soil and sod was laid to improve the lawns condition.

Perth and Smith Falls District Hospital, 2012 - It was a pleasure to be given the opportunity to reconstruct the down grade of the back lawn and provide a natural armour stone retaining wall to separate the back parking lot from the green space surrounding Perth and Smith Falls District Hospital. We replaced a wooden pressure treated wall that had deteriorated with a permanent armour stone structure. We were able to meet the demands of the hospitals strict budget while at the same time providing a permanent solution to there structural demands.

Perth Area, Armour Steps, 2011 For this project an armour stone retaining wall was constructed to separate the parking area from the lawn area. The design with the armour stone was carried around the house and with following the slope of the land to create a natural stairway with small gardens lining the walkway. This project is a work in progress as the customer has since added a fire pit constructed by Stonebridge and had there gardens completed by Nicole and Brittany. Rideau Lake, Armour Stone Steps, 2009 Design and installation of 24 armour stone steps which lead to the waterfront. The steps are integrated with small flower beds.

Mississippi Lake, Armour Stone Retaining Wall, 2007 An armour stone retaining wall was installed along this beachfront to help prevent shoreline erosion. Rip-rap was placed at the base of the mature trees to protect them.
